Imagine where your business would be if you could tap into the expertise of some of the leading marketing brains available. People who have proven themselves by writing bestsellers. Books that only became bestsellers because the authors put into practice the techniques that they wrote about. What if some of those people were TED speakers, or had made fortunes for themselves, and their clients, by putting into practice the marketing strategies and tactics they had perfected over years? Would you, and your business, benefit if you had access to the knowledge these people possess? With that knowledge, could you realise your dreams? Stop dreaming. This is the real world and you have the opportunity to turn your dream into reality. Twenty-One Leading Authorities Twenty-one people, all leading authorities in their field of expertise, have joined forces to write a book that could turn your dreams into reality. These people are based around the globe and have clients on every continent. I'm privileged to know each and every one of these people, because we are all part of the same mastermind group. It's called the Joint Venture Master Mind Group (JVMM) and on monthly calls (and sometimes other mediums) we share our experiences, both good and bad, and so continually improve our strategies, tactics, techniques and profits. The people in this group are leaders in their fields. They have been specially selected by my friend, Dov Gordon, and Dov imposes strict joining criteria. The main one is that you are exceptionally good at what you do. Just twenty-one people from the JVMM group came together to write this book. The result is probably one of the most inspiring marketing books ever written. It focuses on what works in their businesses today. It isn't just theory; the contributors to this book run different sized businesses on several continents, so there is undoubtedly something in this book for businesses of every size and stage of development. Four Corners of the World The following chapters cover a wide range of marketing topics. Because they have been written by people from the four corners of the world, each author uses the form of English in use where they live. But English comes in many versions, with many spellings and grammatical constructions. As the editor of this book, I've not tried to standardise the English, but left it as written by the authors. This means you may see the same word spelt in several different ways depending on who wrote the chapter and the conventions in their part of the world. We live in a very small world where we watch films and TV programmes made far from where we live. We read books, articles and blogs written by people who have English as their mother tongue or for whom it is their second, third, fourth or business language, so these English variations are unlikely to be a problem to most readers. I make a point of this only to avoid confusion and because your next customer could speak any one of hundreds of forms of English. My advice is don't worry about the spellings and grammatical construction; instead, think about the content and how you can apply it to your business situation. A Last Thought There are literally thousands of ways to market any business. Each business is different and what works for one business may not work for the next. So in this book you'll find authors saying that they think the best marketing strategy or tactic is x, y or z. In the next chapter you could find advice that countermands what you've just read. This doesn't mean one is right and one is wrong. It means that you need to decide, with your new knowledge, what will work for your business. For example, some of my clients find video ads on Facebook work incredibly well for them, but for my business they are a total waste of time. The thing is we have different target audiences, with different products or services. So read this book, make your decision and be successful. Stefan Drew Editor

Creating Business Growth Stefan Drew 9780993162312 Books Reviews

There is so much great information inside this from so many great authors that it is really difficult to summarize this as a whole. But if you are looking to get some very actionable advice to advance your business, then choosing any of the 21 chapters will serve you well.
This book is packed full of ideas. There is help from each author on their subject. You can contact them for more information. Would recommend this book highly for anyone wanting to get ahead in business.
I must say that this book is loaded with great content. A great book bringing together the experience and knowledge of 20 high profile experts in marketing; the authors are leaders in marketing and entrepreneurship I think this book is indeed a very interesting read with lots of ideas and thoughts to take away, some challenging, some practical. Excellent work...
I got this book in its launching thanks to Michael Zipursky, one of the authors,
Since the biginning this book was special, as how they, the authors, marketing it.
I can say that most of the chapters are very practical and give many tips to improve your marketing.
I myself already used several themes from different chapters.
As an example I can say, to have three price options for a service, and to quote with the ROI Formula.
I recommend to any enterprenuer.
Lots of information along with information from different people in theirc fields. A lot to read and lots more free information you will definitely learn something nicely written and free wonderful
I just finished this ebook and was immensely gratified with the actionable content it provided. The four stars only reflects my disappointment with the recurring typos and less-than-stellar grammar. But, to be fair, as a writer and copy-editor, I am probably far too persnickety about such things!

The format is brilliant nothing beats hearing directly from those who have "done it" and the first-person perspective provides a great deal of legitimacy to the content. An insightful start-up or entrepreneur will be able to find value in every chapter even if the specifics do not apply directly to his or her own business model. I would recommend this book enthusiastically, and especially for the price.
I have been following a few of these authors for some years now and I was surprised to see they included quite of bit of their paid, relevant content in this volume. No doubt books like this are designed to showcase the talent of a group of authors and this book certainly does, but I have already put into action some of the instructions discussed.

I read Peter Sandeen's chapter on marketing. On the surface, it was good basic information. But if you really pay attention, he explains some very important concepts most of us in marketing sometimes forget. "Before you can consider what will persuade someone to buy, you need to be clear about the kind of people you want to persuade." This started me on a quest to really clarify who my target client would be. Simple, right? But that reminder helped me really focus in on making sure my very limited funds were spent marketing to exactly who I want to reach. Peter's a smart guy, there are more gems like that.

Nick Jervis follows up with some powerful copyrighting tips and I made a series of changes to my website after reading his chapter that I know will improve it. I noticed several important "out points" in my own sales letter as well. I went back and improved my sales letter and I will be A/B testing this in the following weeks.

I took Wally Waldron's list of sources of traffic, I went through each and made sure I was paying attention to most of them as they applied. It's a little general, but I noticed he mentioned Ad Retargeting. I had been meaning to do that and after reading his chapter, I did. It's already working.

Mike Seddon's ad word chapter is an excellent basic primer on Google Ad Words, I think I had been on track with a lot of what Mike explains but he reminded me about testing. He says "The key to success with Adwords is to constantly test and refine your advertising." I'd become lazy and settled into a schedule instead of testing. I did 3 tests the day I read his chapter and saw a bump in clicks by the 3rd test. Wow, I really should do more of this.

I could go on and on, but each chapter has actionable steps that I am using to make more money in 2015.

I don't think a single coach or consultant would be able to help me as much as this little book has already done so. If I take one chapter a week and just implement one tip per chapter, I will have been through the book almost 3 times this year, that's my intention.

I hope this book get you guys a ton of new clients, but I probably won't be one of them, I will be waiting with open arms for your next book!
